Eighteen years ago, an idealistic chemistry PhD gave up a comfortable life in Australia and returned to his hometown in Chengdu, Sichuan, planting a seed of green innovation. Thus, Sichuan Oberon was born—one of China’s earliest enterprises dedicated to R&D in water-based industrial and architectural coatings.

Dr. Jiang He, Chairman and CEO of Sichuan Oberon Advanced Materials Technology Co., Ltd., is a pioneering leader at the forefront of the eco-friendly coatings industry. He earned his Ph.D. in Chemistry from The University of Hong Kong and completed postdoctoral research in Chemistry at Monash University in Australia.
